The block

Somebody dragged an old leather sofa out onto the corner, and by morning three cats had it. Red sits on the left, Socks takes the middle, Smoke takes the right, and nobody has ever seen them swap. The rats moved off the block that same week. Ask what they do all day and they will look at you until you leave.
